Trianon Music Group Celebrates

Fifty Years of Music Making 1959-2009
Ipswich Corn Exchange
Saturday 10 January 2009, 7.30pm

Trianon launches its Golden Jubilee year with a programme that has golden threads running throughout, from the brilliant Coronation March Orb and Sceptre, The Gold and Silver Waltz, and some songs where gold is prominent.   But the programme is more than this: it provides an entertaining review of features of the past 50 years in the formation and development of Trianon, including two world premieres of music specially written for the singers and players by Andrew Burke A Fistful of Hits - Golden Year, and Matthew Curtis Overture – Fifty Not Out.  What better way to launch a New Year than with the celebration of 50 years of music making?

Don't miss the pre-concert events, starting at 6.15pm - Meet the Composers: Question and Answer session with Andrew Burke and Matthew Curtis.
This will be followed by the Trianon Buskers entertaining you in aid of Sound On/Talking Newspaper for the Blind, Ipswich.
