As well as its three major annual concerts, smaller groups of Trianon musicians also perform concerts around the region helping to raise funds, often for small country churches.  Read the details below to find out how the the proceeds of the next community concert are to be used.
Chattisham Church, SuffolkThe 'Friends of Hintlesham with Chattisham Churches' organisers of this concert was established to raise funds for both churches but in particular for the restoration of St Margarets' Church in Chattisham.

Two years ago St Margarets'  Tower suffered serious structural failure due to settlement but thanks to swift intervention by English Heritage and the Churche's architect and engineer an emergency repair contract was let and the work undertaken during the summer of 2008. The Tower is now safe but further complex repair work is required to the north and south walls of the chancel and nave which have also been badly effected by settlement. The cost to date is in excess of £60,000 which has been met with grants from English Heritage, Suffolk Historic Churches Trust, The Historic Churches Trust and funds raised by The Friends and the church community.
Hintlesham Church, Suffolk
Hintlesham and Chattisham Churches both date back to the 13th century and form an invaluable part of the history and heritage of Suffolk. Both churches are in need of funds to maintain and repair the fabric of the buildings and the concert in May is aimed and raising awareness of the problems and funds for their ongoing restoration.

This Concert will be performed by The Trianon Strings and Singers with Conductor Professor Christopher Green OBE.  The programme will be similar to that as for the Grundisburgh Community Concert which included music by Handel, Leroy Anderson, John Rutter, Andrew Lloyd Webbber and more, and will feature the second performance of 'The Golden Thread', a new work for strings and singers written especially for Trianon's 50th anniversary year.  The composer of the work, Charmaine Cooper and poet Joanna Clark who wrote the words, will give a short interview during the concert.
