Tour to Worcester October 25th – 29th 2017
We have been invited to Worcester by The Elgar Chorale and their conductor Piers Maxim to give a joint concert on Saturday October 28th 2017.
We will also be giving a concert in Belmont Abbey, by kind invitation of the Abbot, Rt Rev Dom Paul Stonham.
We are looking at venues for performing a third concert, but at this stage cannot give any details.
We will again be travelling by Galloway Sapphire Star coach, with our usual driver Tony Hall. Tony has been with us on many tours, and still wants to come again!
Our accommodation will be at The Fownes Hotel in Worcester City Centre, a former glove factory.
PRICE for four nights Bed & Breakfast, all coach travel and an evening meal on the first night will be
£275 per person for those sharing a double room
£350 per person in a single room.
A deposit of £50 per person is required. This is non- refundable unless TMG cancels the tour.
Further instalments will be due in April and September.
We have also come up with ideas for sightseeing, including the Elgar connections, as this is a richly interesting destination.
So that’s it in a nutshell – we’re off to Worcester and hope that you will come with us! The Tour is open to all members of TMG – instrumentalists, singers and Friends and to all members of The Anglia Singers. We are keen to take instrumentalists as well as a choir.
Several people have already expressed an interest in this tour. So don’t delay – book today!
