Venue: Rushmere Hall County Primary School.
Rehearsal time 7.30-9.30pm, with a short comfort break in middle
- Tuesday 7 September Choir
- Wednesday 8 September Orchestra
- Monday 13 September Choir
- Tuesday 14 September Orchestra
The Music Strategy group has been meeting over the summer to review the situation as it develops, and has produced the attached set of revised protocols. Please do take time to read it because the protocols are designed to make all members feel comfortable and safe about supporting this first return to rehearsing as a choir and as an orchestra. Telephone numbers are listed of colleagues who are willing to take any calls and answer queries. The main thing is that we want to get a really good response.
The choir music will involve study of some of the choruses from Faure’s Requiem plus some lighter short works, whilst the orchestra will study Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 plus some other shorter contrasting pieces.
We do look forward to seeing you, and please do let John and Nigel know if you haven’t done so already. Spaces are being filled quickly in the choir so please do make sure you have let John know that you are coming.
Please make sure you have read the protocols here before you attend. These outline the pracycalities of attending rehearsals as well as the reasoning behind them.
